Join us for an update on the latest in early cognitive concerns for primary care.
There is a stage in between dementia and healthy cognition, when an individual or their family are noticing changes. GPs are well placed to identify cognitive change, distinct from aging alone, and manage modifiable risk factors.1-3
Sharpen your understanding of subjective cognitive decline, mild cognitive impairment and dementia. In this session, GPs will deepen their skills in cognitive history-taking and explore a range of tools for cognitive assessment, enabling an individualised approach with their patients across different scenarios in general practice.
This webinar, presented by GPs Dr Karen Savery and Dr Peter Silberberg, will also give you an opportunity to ask our experts your most pressing questions during the 30-minute open Q&A session as part of this webinar.
Learn what types of comments from an individual or their family might prompt cognitive assessment, what functional domains each tool can assess, and how to appropriately balance results alongside history and examination.
