Outline the role of the GP in managing nodules present in radiology reports of those participating in NLCSP, as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Discuss results of a NLCSP radiology report with patients, including a patient’s risk profile and appropriate follow-up
List key features of an effective referral for management of nodules in high and very high-risk category identified through NLCSP participation
Implement practice systems and processes for monitoring patients with low-risk nodules

A/Prof Justin Tse

Justin Tse is Associate Professor & Cancer Lead based at the Department of General Practice and Primary Care. He is the former Director of Medical Education (Clinical Dean) at St Vincent's Hospital Clinical School, University of Melbourne. In addition, he is Deputy Chair – Clinical Education Training Advisory Committee - VCCC Alliance, member of the CCV Medical and Scientific committee and immediate Past Chair – RACGP specific interest network in Cancer and Palliative Care. In May 2025, he was appointed as Board Director, Cancer Council Victoria. His research interests include cancer education, cancer screening, health systems and the role of technology in medical practice.

Dr Miranda Siemienowicz

Dr Miranda Siemienowicz is a thoracic radiologist at Northern Health in Melbourne. She is Chair of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Thoracic Radiology and is the Clinical Lead for the National Lung Cancer Screening Program (NLCSP) on behalf of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. She sits on the NLCSP Expert Advisory Committee and the Data Development Working Group for the Australian Government’s Department of Health, Disability and Ageing and is also a member of the Lung Cancer Working Party of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand.
