Find out the latest on atopic dermatitis in this new 1 hour module

Atopic dermatitis is a common chronic, relapsing, pruritic, inflammatory skin disease that occurs most frequently in children, but may also occur in adulthood.1,2 Although atopic dermatitis may sometimes be perceived as a relatively benign condition, it can have a significant impact on the psychosocial well?being and quality of life of patients, highlighting the need for timely and effective management.1,2

Our improved understanding of the pathophysiology of atopic dermatitis in addition to the availability of new systemic therapies is rapidly changing best practice management approaches.3 It is now understood that, as a highly heterogeneous condition, atopic dermatitis requires an individualised, multifaceted approach to treatment.4

This module will update GPs, and other primary healthcare providers, on the latest evidence to help them confidently diagnose atopic dermatitis and implement individualised treatment approaches. You'll gain access to practical tools and strategies that will allow you to optimise outcomes in your patients with atopic dermatitis.

Understand the clinical features of atopic dermatitis to differentiate it from other skin conditions.
Understand evidence-based treatment options to confidently manage mild to moderate atopic dermatitis within the primary care setting.
Learn how to counsel patients effectively on treatment adherence; or refer patients to nurses or patient organisations that provide supportive resources to aid in their management.
