Join this webinar for practical, patient focussed advice when detecting a lung nodule

You asked for it! Australia’s first National Lung Cancer Screening Program (NLCSP) was launched on July 1 this year, prompting GPs to ask for a deeper educational dive into the management of lung nodules if these are detected during screening. How should GPs work with supporting radiologists and understand nodule types, and what are the next steps for GPs to do, including monitoring low-risk nodules and/or recommended pathways of care? Importantly, how should GPs discuss the presence of nodules with their patients and support them through the results and management protocols, including encouraging smoking cessation?

Join academic GP, A/Prof Justin Tse, Past Chair of RACGP Specific Interest Network in Cancer and Palliative Care, and radiologist, Dr Miranda Siemienowicz, Chair of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Thoracic Radiology (ANZSTR), and Radiology Clinical Lead for the National Lung Cancer Screening Program, as they dive into case studies and Australian guidelines recommendations for GPs, and give you practical, patient-focused advice.

Ask us more! You’ll also get an opportunity to ask our experts your most pressing questions during the 30-minute open Q&A session as part of this webinar.
