GP Clinical Enhancement Module: Youth mental health

This clinical enhancement module looks at the key diagnostic and management features for common youth mental health issues. These include depression, anxiety and borderline personality disorder, with an emphasis on indigenous and LGBTIQ youth. The role of the GP as part of a primary care team is discussed together with the principles for best practice management of these conditions. A range of both pharmacological and non-pharmacological management modalities are explored through case studies.
