ASCVD remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality, with secondary prevention critical to reducing recurrent events. Using the latest Australian and international guidelines, our cardiology and GP experts will explore the rationale for updated LDL-C targets. How low is too low? What new risk management tools and therapies should GPs be using, and why? What should GPs manage within in their practice and when should they consider referral?
Presented by GP Dr Rob Hungerford, and cardiologist A/Prof Adam Nelson, this deep-dive advanced course will provide you the latest evidence-based strategies to optimise cardiovascular secondary prevention in primary care.
